Noelia Ferruz awarded a Leonardo Scholarship from BBVA

Noelia Ferruz, leader of the AI for Protein Design group (www.aiproteindesign.com), has been awarded a prestigious Leonardo scholarship from BBVA. Her exceptional work in the field has earned her one of the 58 scholarships among 1116 candidates. In the evaluation of candidates, both the applicant’s curriculum excellence and the uniqueness of the presented project were taken into account.

The Leonardo scholarship will further support Noelia’s research in designing new-to-nature enzymes with AI methods. Congratulations, Noelia, we look forward to seeing the results of your research!
