Title: “Novel applications for designed protein cages: Breaking the size barrier to image therapeutic proteins by cryo-electron microscopy“

Biosketch: 

Roger Castells completed his PhD in Nanobiotechnology at the John Innes Center (United Kingdom). He is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the University of California – Los Angeles (UCLA) and his research is based on the study and production of nanoparticles and nanomachines. He has also carried out scientific research at the Center for Research in Agrigenomics (CRAG) in Barcelona, at the University of Zurich (Switzerland) and at the Ludwig-Maximilian University of Munich (Germany). He previously studied Biotechnology at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and has been awarded several awards for his work in scientific communication and dissemination.
