Biosketch: Dr. Pereiro López is the beamline responsible of Mistral at Alba, the Spanish synchrotron, which is dedicated to soft X-ray microscopy. She designed, installed and commissioned the beamline which started user operation in February 2013. Mistral serves several communities among them the biological one by performing cryo soft X-ray tomography and cryo spectro-microscopy.
