Drinking coffee with the Structural Biology Unit

Last Wednesday, Maria Solà was drinking coffee and explaining her research at the “Scientific Coffee sessions” organized by Ciència en Societat Foundation and Casa Orlandai Cultural Association. The activity pretends to bring closer a scientist and his research to the general public. Maria Sola, who is a principal investigator of the Structural Biology Unit, explained which are the scientific methodologies that we use to study the structure of living matter and why obtaining that information could be important to us.

The Scientific Coffee session took place at Casa Orlandai, a Sarrià neighborhood sociocultural centre with a very active cultural activity. This activity has been organized for 9 years and is an example of success in science education and public engagement.
