Dr. Liesa participated as an invited speaker at the 2023 Gordon Research Conference on Pancreatic Diseases, held in Lucca, Barga, Italy.  The 2023 edition of the Pancreatic diseases GRC conference was chaired by Nabeel Bardessy, Professor at the MGH- Harvard University and Francisco Real, Professor at CNIO, with more tan 140 attendees from all over the world. Dr. Liesa gave the opening presentation at the plenary session Organellar Function in Pancreatic Homeostasis and Disease.
